***General Introduction***
This dataset contains data collected from the optical power meter in the optical laboratory at Eindhoven University
of Technology, as part of the publication mentioned above: doi:10.1109/JQE.2022.3224786

It is being made public both to act as supplementary data for publications and in order for other researchers to use this data in their own work.

***Purpose of the test campaign***
The purpose of this measurement was to measure time traces to show a pulsating optical output.

***Test equipment***
The SOA section was pumped using a Thorlabs Pro8000 current source and DC probe needles. The SA voltage set using a Keitley 2401 SMU.
The optical timetraces were obtained using a New Focus 1014 45 GHz PD connected to a LeCroy Wavemaster 8600A 6 GHz real time oscilloscope.

***Description of the data in this data set***
There two files, one for Fig. 11 and one for Fig. 12. Column 1 contains the time in seconds, column 1 the signal in volts.
